"Fiber and Fashion: The Stories Threads Tell"

 

Everyone attending the 2026 MAWS Conference is invited to participate in the Fashion Show "Fiber and Fashion: The Stories Threads Tell" on Sunday June 21.   

 

What are your fiber stories as they relate to your entry? Many creative ideas originate from lessons that have been learned at workshops, or nurtured through daily habits, observations or events. Dreary day, sunny day, a favorite color, a family or special occasion, an exciting yarn, a new loom, a disaster project becomes a stunning success -- all offer inspiration. Join us at the Sunday morning fashion show event and share your stories and inspirations. There will be a People's Choice Award for the Fashion Show.  

 

The fashion show is open (not juried). All fiber techniques (weaving, felting, knitting, crocheting) are welcome.  Additional information is provided in the Fashion Show PDF entry form.  or the word form.
